VIDEO: LinkedIn's Tietje on "smart" networking with social media

The unemployment figures are still up (about 9.7 percent as of April 2, 2010).  Competition for jobs is fierce.  And, we all know sending out a 100 resumes a week, to online job postings, can be an exercise in futility.

“Uncovering the Hidden Job Market” — held by the NYU-SCPS career management program — gathered a group of career coaches and experts to talk about broadening one’s network and finding the many job opportunities that are not advertised.
