Mon, 15 Mar 2010 21:27:08 +0000 http://nyuscpsnews.wordpress.com/?p=207#comment-16 We would propose that, while a populist solution is hip now and tracks the web trends of transparency and openness, it largely ignores the problematic nature of both individual and group psychology and brain research that offers growing evidence that: - our minds do not do well with complex decisions - much of our behavior is driven unconsciously These factors, along with the exponentially increasing complexity, scale and velocity of the global financial system, would argue against simple solutions anytime soon - or perhaps... anytime.
